Javier O. Roa
Javier O. Roa is the general manager of Technaid S.L. Since 2010, he has managed several projects within the company. He has led the development of new systems and the commercial exploitation of different outcomes generated in those projects, currently commercialized by the company (www.technaid.com).
Current Technaid’s development lines are Motion Capture Solutions, portable systems which are applied in several knowledge areas including the increasing field of Brain Art (www.technaid.com/tech-mcs/), and Robotic Exoskeletons for lower limbs, an open system used in the research of gait rehabilitation process (www.technaid.com/exoskeleton/).
Technaid S.L. was founded to solve the growing necessity to transform the knowledge obtained from R+D projects, where we were involved, into real solutions to help people. This main objective is reached by the development of innovative products framed in the field of technical aids for disability and healthy. Thus, Technaid was born in 2004 as a technological Spin-off Company of the Bioengineering Group of the National Research Council of Spain (CSIC).
