Marisol Rodríguez-Ugarte

Marisol Rodríguez-Ugarte is a scientific researcher in the Brain-Machine Interface Systems Lab at Miguel Hernández University of Elche (Spain). She holds an M.Sc in Biomedical Engineering from Imperial College London (2013). Now she is doing a Ph.D. about Decoding and stimulation of motor and sensory brain activity to support long term potentiation through Hebbian and paired associative stimulation during rehabilitation of gait. Her main research is focused on Neuro-robotics, Brain Computer Interfaces and Transcranial Current Stimulation (tCS) in order to improve the rehabilitation process of patients who suffered a cerebrovascular accident (CVA).
