Jorge Antonio Gaxiola Tirado

Jorge Gaxiola has a degree in Biomedical Engineering (2013) by the University of Guadalajara, and an M.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering and Physics (2016) from Cinvestav, where he worked on the analysis and classification of electroencephalographic signals for brain-computer interface applications.

Currently, he is a Ph.D. student in Biomedical Engineering and Physics. He is a member of the “Biomedical Signal Processing Laboratory” at Cinvestav, Monterrey's Unit. He is interested in Statistical Signal Processing for Biomedical applications, especially in the evaluation of brain connectivity and the characterization of functional brain networks under different scenarios.
