Tess Torregrosa

Tess Torregrosa is a Ph.D. student in the chemical engineering department at Northeastern University. She is co-advised by Dr. Abigail Koppes (northeastern.edu/abnel) and Dr. Ryan Koppes (northeastern.edu/lnnr) systematically studying the autonomic nervous system and its relationship with heart failure. Previously, she studied tissue engineered corneal replacements using silk scaffolds under Dr. David Kaplan at Tufts University where she was a chemical engineering and drama double major. Outside of the lab she is a volunteer for the Catalyst Collaborative @MIT in the Central Square Theater.
