Useful Information about Valencia

The city of Valencia is the capital of the “Comunidad Valenciana” and the province of Valencia. It is located in the middle-east of Spain, on the shore of the Mediterranean Sea. Valencia was founded in the year 138 BC by the Romans whose influence can be seen in the archaeological centre of Almoina.

September is a perfect month to visit Valencia due to its wonderful temperature (25º C), the comfort at the beach, and the sunsets at l’Albufera located 25km (~30 minutes) from the city centre.

General information can be found here: http://www.visitvalencia.com/en/

Airport transfers: There are several taxis outside the airport. These are identified by a green light on top of the car. Another way to go to your destination from the airport is by metro. In the following website you can see maps, schedules and much more information.
